Bricks, Bricks, and Bricks

Had a chance to visit Historic Smithville Park in Eastampton Township, NJ recently. It’s about 25 miles east of Philadelphia. There is a mill complex there as well as the home of H.B. and Agnes Smith. The docent, who took us on a tour of the mansion, was an elderly gentleman with many interesting and amusing anecdotes. It made the tour twice as enjoyable. But, being photographers, one of the first things that attracted us was the brickwork. So much of it was in decay that it was hard to imagine the buildings in their fullness. That didn’t stop us, though.
